WONDERFALLS - Aaron & Mahandra Scenes (Part 1)

“I’m somebody’s brother”

gonzosheart asked:
HEY WHAT ALL DO YOU DO WITH YOUR HAIR LIKE WHAT SHAMPOO CONDITIONER STEPS STYLES EVERYTHING IM STRESSIN AND NEED DEEEP HELP PLZ * I jst started my natural look

whoa! lol that’s a lot to answer but i’ll try my best to answer your questions…

What shampoo and conditioner do I currently use?

  • Elucence Moisture Benefits Shampoo liter
  • aloe 80 Organics :Aloe, Lemon & Rosemary Daily Conditioner

What moisturizers, styling creams etc. do I use?

  • Oyin Handmade’s: Shine & Define, Hair Dew, Burnt Sugar Pomade

As for my regimen, I’m pretty lazy so I tend to procrastinate when it comes to styling  my hair and doing treatments. So, I typically leave my hair in twists for 2-3 weeks at a time. On my wash day, I microwave like 1/4 cup of honey for 10-15 seconds in a bowl. Then, I add like 1/2 cup of aloe vera juice to my honey along with 2tbsp of olive oil and any regular conditioner until it has a runny consistency. At this point, I have sectioned my hair into 4 or 5 parts. Then, I apply the mixture to each section and finger detangle. Once I finish detangling my hair I put my heat cap on and stay under it for 15-30 mins. Afterwards, I wash the treatment out and wash and condition my hair. As for styling, I moisturize my hair in sections with my oyin handmade hair dew and pomade and braid my hair to stretch it for the next day. The following day I do twists on my hair as the days went I would oil my scalp with rosemary and olive oil…and thats it. Oh yea, always sleep with a satin scarf or bonnet.

I’m not sure how much hair you have now but when I was newly natural I didn’t have much hair. So what I did was condition wash my hair almost everyday and then while it was wet apply moisturizer to it. Once it dried I would spray a leave in like juices n berries from oyin handmade and that’s basically all I did until my hair got longer.

I couldn’t keep the twists for another week because my hair was itching like crazy!! But, I kept the twists in for 3 weeks…this is the twist out.

Hey!! I saw your picture on someone's tumblr and was wondering how long have you been natural? and how old are you? if you don't mind me asking...

Hello, I’m 20 years old and I began transitioning January 18, 2011 and I big chopped May 30, 2011…so I’ve been completely natural for almost 1 year. I have until May 30, 2012 to reach my 1 year anniversary.
